From the Archives, 1970: Bomb blasts Yugoslav consulate in Hawthorn

On October 21, 1970, a bomb tore a gaping hole in the Melbourne office of the Yugoslav Consulate. The explosion shattered windows throughout the building. It was heard a mile away and glass was thrown 30 feet to the road.
