It’s not worth it. The brief satisfaction you get in the moment is not worth the damage you do to your mind and body, to say nothing about the horrendous industry you support with your patronage. Get out. Get out now. Don’t compromise, don’t wean off, get out and don’t look back. Get accountability software on your computer and phone like covenant eyes, or fortify. Wipe them if need be. And if you do relapse. If you do have a moment of weakness, DO NOT beat yourself up about it. This is an addiction like any other. I’d argue it’s even the worst, because of how it targets our sexual drive as humans and how sex is everywhere in this day and age. Acknowledge that you slipped up, ask God for forgiveness (if you’re a Christian like me). Then evaluate what put you in the circumstances that made you slip up and figure out what needs to be done to eliminate or reduce that weak point. It’s going to suck. It’s likely going to be a constant battle for the rest of your life. But it is so much better than the knowledge that you support the modern day slavery of men, women, and children.
