does genie folklore exist on remnant?
like, it’s obvious to us right away that ozpin asking how he specifically can destroy salem doesn’t mean she can’t be killed/stopped by other people or other means because that’s not how genies work, but do the characters know that? no one even questioned it when yang said she can’t be killed.
is there a chance that since a genie does exist ozpin (or salem maybe?) made sure stories about them never got around? or maybe that ozpin doesn’t know how careful he needed to be himself? jinn was created by the god of light, why would he doubt her?
some people today complain that having the internet at our fingertips has spoiled millennials but like, i’m so glad i can look shit up whenever i want to. like can you imagine what it’d be like living in ancient greece and having to rely on herodotus when he says shit like “lions can only give birth once bc their cubs claw their way out of the womb”? i’d have to be like “o damn, guess that’s true” before going back to farming and dying of malaria bc i just thought my neighbor was cursing me again and didn’t go see a doctor
real question why are people suddenly acting like pokemon is a dying franchise and lets go is the change gamefreak needs to revive it. it is literally the highest grossing media franchise currently on planet earth
Well, if you they’re like me, you found Sun and Moon to be the most disappointing Pokemon games to date, followed closely by X and Y, and they’re beginning to worry that if new Pokemon games continue in this vein, the sales may be there but the long term interest will be gone
