What information do we collect, how is it protected?
We collect contact and billing information from you when you place an order, which we keep on file in order to quickly and efficiently help you through any questions or concerns about your order(s). We also offer you the option of providing a few pieces of profile data to build your attendee profile.
Your payment is processed securely through our 256-bit encrypted payment gateway. The payment gateway provider will use this secure connection to verify your payment information with your financial institution. At no point in this process is the information accessible to us. This allows us to protect you and your information completely.
When ordering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter: your name, email address, mailing address, credit card information, Twitter handle, personal URL, business name, and position/title. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
How is your information used?
Any of the information we collect from you will only be used in one of the following ways:
i) To process transactions
Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased products or services requested.

The optional profile data you provide is used to publish your "attendee profile" – and only when you explicitly mark your profile as public. This information is visible only on the attendee page and only to other attendees who have also made their profiles public.
iv) To make future events better
We utilize the optional profile data in aggregate to seek more relevant speakers/topics for our events. For example, if a significant number of attendees are interested in Project Management we will work to feature more talks on Project Management.
Do we use cookies?
Yes. We use cookies to assist with our ecommerce processes, user authentication, and Google’s Adwords and Analytics programs.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
Not without your consent.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential and not reuse it for any other purposes. We may also release your information if release is required to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.
If you explicitly request to be contacted by an event sponsor, to join their newsletter, or wish to participate in their contest or give-away, we will share your relevant information with them in order to fulfill that request.
