    The military will be an important resource for containing COVID-19. The DoD is our largest govt department. Few people know it better than reporters, and most of them were just indefinitely furloughed. This is terrible.

    Seeing some former Military Times colleagues getting furloughed. I'm pulling for all of you, hopefully they don't try to make you work unpaid (during 3 of 4 furloughs during the 3+ years I was in that newsroom that happened). You each can claim a drink on me when this is all over

    We at have reported on filthy, unsafe conditions in immigration lockup. Pressure is on to release immigrant detainees given threats of coronovirus spreading. Remember, ICE detainees aren't serving sentences.
