  1. Michael Ferguson says that only Liberal Party cares about child sexual abuse, despite revelations in education, health and youth justice systems. In my opinion this bloke is seriously unfit to be a Tas Minister of the Crown. Gotta go, either resigned or sacked.

The hand-wringing today by the Oz Govt and others is hypocrisy on steroids. They’re the very same people condemning the whistleblowers, lawyers and journalists revealing war crimes etc, eg Julian Assange, Witness K & Bernard Collaery, ADF lawyers and the ABC

It’s up to the Govt to step up to the plate & repay all debts calculated using the flawed system, including those who did the right thing by questioning the accuracy of their debts

Not surprising Fed Govt has folded in the Robodebt trial & agreed to pay back $1.2bn to welfare recipients. Robodebt was blatantly illegal & Govt should never have dragged this out. No amount of money can compensate for the stress & anguish.

Australia Post must lift its game. Too much mail is taking too long to deliver and this risks spoiling Christmas for many people. See the Minister’s answer here:

Did the State Government follow proper process awarding these taxpayer funds & give other organisations a chance including TAFE's Drysdale Institute, or did it simply agree to hand over the taxpayer funds after a party donor came knocking?

The Fed Govt reducing JobSeeker again is cruel and unnecessary. You simply can’t live on $715/fortnight (from 1 Jan). The Govt must legislate immediately for a JobSeeker rate that is permanent & above the poverty line

Are racehorses being shot, carved up and turned into dogfood for greyhounds? If they are, this represents a ghastly circle of cruelty in the racing industry where animals that don’t run fast enough are killed.

All Australians on govt pensions & payments need to live w/ dignity on a living income above the poverty line. So the Fed Govt mustn't cut the Jobseeker rate on 31 Dec & in the interim they should provide greater certainty for recipients
