President Trump declined during a Wednesday briefing at the White House to commit to a “peaceful” transition of power if he were to lose to Democratic rival Joe Biden in the November 3 presidential election. “I’ve been complaining very strongly about the ballots,” Trump added, appearing to reiterate unfounded claims about mail-in voting, which intelligence officials and fact-checkers have confirmed to be safe and reliable.
