Trivia

In the beginning of the movie, Ousmane played by Omar Sy and François Monge (Laurent Lafitte) visit president Chaligny (André Marcon) in a noble restaurant to inform him about his wife's murder. The exact same house, where this scene takes place, was used in another movie The Intouchables (2011) featuring again Omar Sy in the role of Driss. In The Intouchables (2011) this property was owned by and a home to rich quadriplegic Philippe Pozzo di Borgo played by François Cluzet, whom Driss was a caretaker of. Though The Intouchables (2011) was filmed more than a year before this movie, the building's interior and exterior decorations, including paintings and ornamental bushes outside the entrance, look exactly the same. Buddy movie
13 October 2013 | by kosmaspSee all my reviews

Not the best buddy movie I've seen (2 Guns comes to mind of late), but still a very enjoyable effort. Different people connecting sort of. And because this is french/European, it does not skip on the nudity. Something a US remake probably would do, especially considering what target audience they'd want to reach with it.

One of our main actors is on his way to produce a lot of movies, especially since his very successful turn in "Intouchables" (english title). A very good movie, but also something that might come back to haunt him. A friend of mine didn't like his effort here and thinks he will be eaten and chewed off in a matter of months. Doing movies no one will want to see and delivering performances that are not good at all. That's a grim view, almost as grim as the bad guys that have to be fought in this movie. If you look upon it as a small little comedy, you might be able to enjoy yourself. If you try to compare it to "Intouchables", you won't!
