    Journalist unions across the globe call on Hong Kong Police to scrap new guidelines that allow the HK government to determine who is a journalist. This overreach would control media coverage, limit access, avoid legitimate scrutiny and deny the public's .

    🇭🇰: Under a new policy, Hong Kong’s police will cease to recognise press accreditation issued by local media or journalist associations unless they are also registered with the government. This is another level of state control over media workers

    It still feels weird watching the clock tick past 07.45 and not hearing the majestic fanfare. More local content is great I guess, but the 7.45 was an institution. Something to set your watch to.
