Congratulations and the City Attorneys of Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco! Uber and Lyft’s exploitative practices have gone on long enough. Proud to be in this fight with you.

Every 2 years, is legally required to issue a report to Congress on health disparities faced by communities of color. The Trump HHS hasn't done it. Systemic racism doesn't disappear when you don't look for it. Now would be a good time for HHS to publish these reports.

Today is the 55th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act. It’s also been 7 years since the Supreme Court gutted it. Congress should restore this landmark law. Anything less allows for the continued disenfranchisement of Black people.

Donald Trump’s misinformation campaigns, propping up of conspiracy theorists, and total incompetence in managing a pandemic continue to harm Americans. We need Dr. Fauci’s leadership more than ever right now.

Death threats against Dr. Fauci and his family are horrible. As he dedicates his life to protecting our families, we all should be supporting him and his team and standing against efforts to undermine public health.

State AGs enforce civil rights laws in our states. We can't have platforms like allow white supremacists to go unchecked. We need them to make meaningful change, and soon. Here are some of our suggestions ⤵️

Hate speech starts in Facebook comment sections, but it doesn't end there. It takes shape in violence and discrimination in communities across MA and beyond. Facebook is creating a space for white supremacists to roam free, and profiting off of it.

This man had two untraceable guns, a DVD called "How to build your untraceable AR-15 at home,” and a copy of Mein Kampf. This is a new reality we are facing—people are buying “ghost gun” kits to build untraceable weapons in their homes. And we are prosecuting them.

Our team proudly defended the eviction and foreclosure moratorium against a legal challenge last week. No one should live in fear of losing their homes right now.

Do we think the Trump Admin just became efficient & counted everyone? Or do we think it is purposefully undercounting areas with Black & brown folks so they receive less funding for their schools and less representation in Congress? I know what I think.

Felipe is a stay-at-home dad & a Lyft & Uber driver. Because they illegally classified him as an independent contractor, he's been given an impossible choice—protect his health & his family & lose wages, or keep driving. Drivers—we want to hear from you:

Under the Bayh-Dole Act, the NIH, HHS, and FDA can scale up production and distribution and bring the cost down. We need the federal government to act with the urgency this moment requires. A bipartisan group of 34 AGs think this is the right call.

There hasn't been enough remdesivir to go around. And Gilead's price—$3,200 per treatment—is out of whack with the $1-5 cost of making it. The federal government should use the Bayh-Dole Act to license remdesivir to third party manufacturers.
