I’m aware Google is paying attention...so I have some recommendations about how they might be more successful in their messaging. So far this messaging has backfired. This is what I’ve said.
1. Be honest about how this will impact users. At the moment it looks like a scare campaign. Telling YouTube users their incomes are at risk is misleading. So is saying free search is at risk. Or that this is just about Big News Business when even regional outlets will benefit.
