    The 800+ strong PCR vans did a wonderful job during the initial Corona period when public transport was not permitted. It had taken to hospitals more than 700 expecting mothers who did not have their own private transport. It was widely covered in the media then.

    Delhi Police PCR Vans are among the largest ambulance services in the country. Annually, they transport around 40,000 persons to hospitals. We are the first to reach and cannot wait for an ambulance to take the victim to hospital. It is a matter of life&death: says a Delhi Cop.

    Quality investigation and high conviction rate is emphasised by Hon’ble Home Minister, time and again. Legal consultants being appointed at subdivision level, will help achieve that. With legal help available at hand, younger policemen will benefit the most.

    पिछले दो महीने में ही 18 साल से कम उम्र के 724 बच्चे लापता हुए यद्यपि इसी दौरान 537 बरामद भी हुए। वे पुलिसकर्मी जो 12 महीने में 50 बच्चे बरामद करेंगे उन्हें बारी से पहले पदोन्नति प्रोत्साहन के रूप में दिया जाएगा। इससे अपराध रोकने में मदद मिलेगी।

    Sir, may consider relief to those who injured/disabled on duty, for SI exams, may be an extremely motivational milestone to CT/HC/ASI ranks, besides considering requests for tr. due to excessive distance as corona eats up at least an hour for preparation bef/af duty. Regards.

    It was pleasure awarding 30 police personnel today for their bravery, brilliant investigation and high degree of commitment displayed during the past weeks in detection of difficult cases. Few policemen are being considered for out of turn promotion and Asadharan karya puraskar.

    It is all in the family- Corona Warriors. The IMA has extended exclusive helpline to Delhi Police personnel to seek medical counselling from a doctor about prevention and handling of Corona cases. It was inaugurated today. We thank IMA for extending this facility.

    Delhi policemen and CAPF personnel are doing life risking job in standing in dangerous environment around CZ full of Corona virus, dust and heat. Every citizen must show responsibility in adhering to safety rules - wearing mask, social distancing and hygiene for pandemic to end.

    visited the Containment Zones in East Delhi at Shashi Garden Jhuggis and B Block Ganesh Nagar complex, Pandav nagar to inspect the Security arrangements. He also interacted with the staff deployed there.

    Visited DCP Vasant Vihar and PS Amar Colony to praise the police teams for arresting culprits in wee hour robbery of Spicejet’s pilot and capturing robbers of motorcyclist within minutes after a hot chase. Delhi Police arrested 57 robbers, snatchers and burglars on 8 June alone.

    Delhi Police fraternity mourns the sad demise of Shri Ved Marwah, former CP, Delhi and Governor in many states. I fondly remember him with respect and admiration as my first CP. He remained a great leader and a police officer par excellence.
