    The first Rafale was handed over to India in October 2019. There is a year-wise phasing of how much offset obligation the companies/OEMs have to fulfill. MoD informs me that claims of such obligations being fulfilled are coming in.

    The C&AG Report No 20 of 2019...Defence Offset Performance was scheduled to be tabled in the Parliament during budget session (2020). The session ended, before date, due to COVID. Now the report will be placed in the next session. The contents will be known only after that.

    The amount disbursed stood at Rs 3,279 crore as on 21.08.2020. Compared to 07.08.2020, there is an increase of Rs 2,195 crore in the amount sanctioned & an increase of Rs 2,279 crore in the amount disbursed.

    CBDT has, so far, issued refunds of over Rs. 88,652 crore to more than 24.64 lakh taxpayers from 1st April, 2020 onwards. Income tax refunds of Rs. 28,180 crore have been issued in 23,05,726 cases & corporate tax refunds of Rs.60,472 crore have been issued in 1,58,280 cases.

    Under , Public Sector Banks (PSBs) have sanctioned loans of Rs 76,044.44 cr, out of which Rs 56,483.41 cr has already been disbursed. Whereas Private Sector Banks have sanctioned loans of Rs 74,715.02 cr out of which Rs 45,762.36 cr has already been disbursed. (2/3)
