John Pilger has been awarded the Sydney Peace Prize. Pilger spoke brilliantly at this year’s Marxism 2009 organised by Socialist Alternative. CDs of all the talks, including Pilger’s, are available from Socialist Alternative. John has indicated he will be coming to Marxism 2010 next Easter in Melbourne.

The Marxism 2009 conference, held over the Easter weekend in Melbourne, was a great success. 764 people attended the event, hearing talks and panel discussions with left wing speakers from Australia and overseas.
