    IT GETS BETTER! is absolutely right! Carole argues that removing things that are racist against black people will make people angry at against black people. You would only argue that (without qualifying it, and she didn't) if you thought that viewpoint had merit.

    I don't care about Rule Britannia. The fight for equality has far bigger battles. I'm just saying: if you want to sing a song about Britain ruling the waves and never being slaves written by a society that was shipping black slaves across the waves, I know whether you're an ally.

    Put it this way: (this isn't an exaggeration because slavery involved a lot of rape) If there was a song written by a known rapist, about how he'd never been raped, you'd never sing that as you'd know he was bragging about his position at the top of the food chain.
