    The history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in NCERT books for many years was read only in 6 lines, & Maharana Pratap's name was mentioned only. In contrast, the history of the invading Mughals like Akbar, Babur etc. was read in many pages.

    I hope that govt. soon takes an action on this. It's saddening that after 70 years of independence, we're still reading how great our invaders were, their personal lives etc. instead of how our brave warriors fought against them, their contribution to our country.
