A low pressure system with a frontal system and trough extends over most of
southeastern Australia. It is driving a widespread rain band over the region
with embedded thunderstorms over central NSW.

An upper trough is producing a mid level cloud band and isolated thunderstrorms
over central QLD coast.

A high level cloud band lies over southwestern coastal WA ahead of a low
pressure system to the west.
