IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for 1800UTC Chart Issued at 5:51 am EST Saturday on 08 August 2020 A low pressure system with a frontal system and trough extends over most of southeastern Australia. It is driving a widespread rain band over the region with embedded thunderstorms over central NSW. An upper trough is producing a mid level cloud band and isolated thunderstrorms over central QLD coast. A high level cloud band lies over southwestern coastal WA ahead of a low pressure system to the west.
