the non artist's statement
"non is not available in real terms. it's equally about what is and what is not. and the quotidian- recontextualised..."
Origin from the Latin non 'not.' Non means 'no' in French. I love not, no? J'adore non!
USAGE : The prefixes 'non'- and un- both have the meaning 'not,' but tend to be used with a difference of emphasis... here, a painting becomes a non-painting, sculpture to non-sculpture. definitions become obscured.
