Atticus Review Writing Contests

Atticus Review holds four contests throughout the year. Details below.

FLASH FICTION (CURRENT STATUS: CLOSED)

This contest normally runs September through December.

• You may submit one (1) piece of Flash Fiction of up to 1000 words for consideration
• Contest submission fee is $10 
• You may submit multiple times
• Simultaneous submissions are fine, but if a piece is withdrawn you will forfeit the submission fee
• Submissions should be previously unpublished
• You may put your name and other identifying information on a cover page of your attached document, but please do not put it anywhere else within the document
• Please no submissions from colleagues, former students, or close acquaintances of the Contest Judge

Prizes:
First Prize: $350
Second Prize: $150
Third Prize: $50

All winners will be published online and may appear in our Print Annual.

• You may submit up to three (3) poems
• Contest submission fee is $10
• You may submit multiple times
• Entries should be previously unpublished
• Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please alert us if a poem is accepted elsewhere
• You may put your name and other identifying information on a cover page of your attached document, but please do not put it anywhere else within the document
• Please no submissions from colleagues, former students, or close acquaintances of the Contest Judge
• All submissions will be considered for publication
