Only another 1 or 2 cm overnight and the very occasional flurry again this morning. The temp is a very chilly minus 5.7 and the wind a strong south-westerly. More dust on very hard crust but maybe the odd patch of very shallow smooth snow out there somewhere. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Please note the Hotham ski area, including all runs and trails, is currently closed and lift operations are suspended until at least 19 August due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak in Victoria . Anyone entering the ski area does so at their own risk. The snowpack is currently thin and variable with many unmarked hazards and obstacles. There is currently no grooming of downhill runs, however snowmobiles, snow cats, machinery and other vehicles may be operating in the ski field at any time for maintenance purposes. Please also note the Hotham Medical Centre and local ambulance service are not currently operating.
