    Today PM inaugurated submarine optical fibre cable connectivity from Chennai to Port Blair . The earlier satellite link provided a speed of 32GBPS . The new connectivity will be of the speed of 400 GBPS . Huge ugradation achieved in record 7 months .

    The eco system starts its work . In Tamilnadu what is the language policy for Urdu , Telugu , Malayalam medium schools ..? Is it 2 or 3 language policy ..? Why deprive a big section of the society from learning another language ?

    Well pointed out, . Conflating Hindi with Indian is implied in this exchange.This is the contradiction that the NEP must address in suggesting a 3-language formula. Hindi can’t be made compulsory but only an option. Southern languages can’t be undermined at any cost!

    Today at the airport a CISF officer asked me if “I am an Indian” when I asked her to speak to me in tamil or English as I did not know Hindi. I would like to know from when being indian is equal to knowing Hindi.
