ABOUT BLOW UP
Blow Up is a club event, a record label, a music publisher and a live music promoter. Established in 1993, as a club event with live guests, Blow Up was soon to be found at the front and centre of the Britpop explosion. A record label and a music publishing company soon followed. In 2020, with Blow Up now in its 27th year, it is still working within all of these four distinctive areas of music entertainment :
Blow Up Club (Club and live music events), Blow Up Records (a record label), Blow Up Songs (a music publisher). This website brings the four activities together in one space to simplify navigation of these individual websites.
In addition, from 2001 – 2009 Blow Up promoted and ran London’s Metro Club a live music venue and nightclub, the venue was closed due to the Crossrail project – the website although still live is for archive purposes only and is not updated.
