SEA KIST

Antiques and Curios in South Queensferry

Situated in the heart of South Queensferry, a fine historic burgh on the south shore of the Firth of Forth. The town has a long established link to the sea and sea faring. Many of the fine old houses were built by wealthy shipowners and merchants. Ships were built in Queensferry until the late 17th century, while smaller craft would ferry travelers across the Forth to Fife. A Sea Kist was a chest of great importance to any seafarer and would often contain all that was precious to him. Today, we take inspiration from our traditional namesake selling a variety of marine related antiques and artwork inspired by the sea. Come and browse the treasures this sea kist holds.

Browse though our fine selection of model ships, Guggle jugs, ships in bottles and other interesting items. We have a wide range of vintage costume jewellery. Not everyone has "sea legs"- so our extensive range of plates, teapots and other china will be perfect for landlubbers everywhere.
