Rice & Mullangi Radish Sambar, Tomato Thayir Pachadi, Pudalangai/Snakegourd & Vendakkai Bhindi Curry. Don't @/me for the weird shape of the elai. Not getting the nuni elai which we get from south. Just some local banana tree leaf.

...don't forget Modi was responsible for WWII, weakening of the British, their rush to leave India & the mess they left behind in Kashmir etc. Yes, Modi wasn't born then, but this was always his plan - to do things before he was born. Nehru OTOH was laser focused on Mountbatten.

I think the singular thing we need to learn from our elders is their adaptability. Haven't ever heard them crib or complain. They just go about it with an amazing willingness to learn.

So I got my father an ipad etc and he is going to make physics videos in Hindi for 11th, 12th and college students and upload on youtube. For a 70 yr old (with hearing disability), i am awestruck how hard he is working to learn these tools and making videos. [1]

A fine article by from 2011, about several instances of mathematical ideas being pursued for their own sake, which later led to surprising and important applications in the real world. Whether this happens or not, the point is that math is inherently fascinating!

Why students don’t learn looping? Students often fail to understand looping because they don’t run the loop in their head, and don’t think what will be the value of the variable in each loop.
