Cutline

Designed by Chris Pearson and later managed by Brian Gardner, one of the first designers of premium WordPress themes, Cutline was a future-proof, easy-to-customize design for WordPress users.

Not just simply a “theme,” Cutline was instead a platform on which developers and designers could easily build on, and which users could easily modify and manipulate to their needs. The theme was one of the first to offer different options, such as single or double sidebars, advanced widget options, and more- and was supported with a paid membership.

In 2010, Cutline evolved into Coraline.

The Cutline Theme was used by hundreds of sites; to see just some of the sites that were running it, visit this gallery. Good times!
