    Never thought I'd see T3 so uncrowded, as it was this morning, when I took a flight to Chandigarh to participate in Punjab Conclave today. Hardly any passengers on flight. had to request some of us to sit next to emergency exit. Happy to oblige

    Army has been enforcing this ban strictly on the LoC, even earlier too 😀 Saw this interesting Sign-board on LoC in Kashmir when I visited the posts as Corps Commander. (Can't click pics on LoC, hence recreating...)

    DISAGREE. It was then. When horses were introduced, speed & mobility of cavalry stuck awe in enemy ranks. But nothing lasts forever. Context, contemporaries have changed. Romanticism & memories apart (I also learnt driving on RCL Jeep), should keep abreast with latest

    Sir no matter what technology we have now , the impact and deternce of RCL mounted on Nissan Jonga was indeed indomitable. CQMH Abdul Hamid proved It in Assal Uttar.

    I was unimpressed by Mr Parrikar till I got so impressed!His insistence on casual wear even in military ambience put me off, till I came to work under him as Chief of IDS. His quick decisions, no nonsense approach, ability to question the status quo &more converted me into a fan

    🙏 Normally I don't take interest in politicians unless they are either praised by a Fauji or they are from RSS. It reaffirms my belief. Hat's off to you Sir for the wonderful book.

    Army has gone about taking many sensible steps, in addition to creating such facilities. DSOI, clubs, some CSDs have been closed till 31 March. Social distancing, screening at entrances & hygiene step-ups being practiced. Whole country, all citizens are gearing up in mission mode

    Can't help but compare the arrangements made for quarantine of travellers in Police Lines at Dwarka and by the Army at Manesar! There was only praise for the Manesar facility. We all know what detainees are posting about the police facilities. It's the service ethos on display!

    I halted there in 2013 on my way to Gangtok. Great view! These roadside refreshment cafes are clean,hygienic, reasonably priced & even fauji brats carry good memories. My sons still remember Tota-Maina at Sunderbani. Calling All to post pics/location of such eateries in comments

    Sir nostalgia... One the best places to have dosa on this earth, along river side ,on the way to Gangtok 🇮🇳 . national flavour.

    RIP Brigadier Gurmeet Kanwal. India has lost a Scholar-Soldier, a pioneer in strategic thinking culture. He's inspired and mentored many. Most heartfelt condolences to and family 🙏

    Last yr I biked along Alaknanda River from Badrinath. It's joined by Dhauli Ganga at Vishnu Prayag, Nandakini at Nandprayag, Pindar river at Karanprayag, Mandakini at Rudraprayag &That's where I'm standing! At Devprayag, Bhagirathi joins it & Ganga is born Helmet off only 4 pic😀

    Sunday lunch, Zara hat-ke... Took a short Bikeride to Baliyawash village on Gurgaon Faridabad road to , a restaurant where you get fresh food farm-to-table. Farm ambience, pet friendly, children playing cricket... Nice family outing on a crisp Sunday afternoon
