    Fact is got caught up in something much bigger than baseball. This became an issue of how the USA is handling the coronavirus vs. measures being taken up here. We're not perfect, but feds have every right to be cautious to make sure it doesn't get as bad as down south.

    As a lifelong baseball fan, and now as someone who covers the sport for a living, it pains me to say this, but I think the federal government made the right decision here. Risks likely weren't that high, but they existed and public health should be prioritized above all

    Can confirm this. There were doubts about the MLB plan both among federal health officials and even within the Jays organization, and the feds had to be the stopper after the city rolled over and the province shrugged. I now return to vacation.
