Why the 3rd Quarter US Economic ‘Rebound’ Will Falter

Economies experiencing deep and rapid contractions—which is typical of both great recessions and economic depressions—inevitably experience periods of leveling off for a time, or even a slight bounce back—i.e. a rebound.
