‘Emily in Paris’ Moves From Paramount Network to Netflix
The upcoming Paramount Network comedy series “Emily in Paris” is headed to Netflix.

Variety has learned that the series will debut exclusively on Netflix this fall rather than the basic cabler. The series is created by and executive produced by Darren Star with Lily Collins starring as the titular Emily in addition to producing.

‘Hanna’ Renewed For Season 3 At Amazon
The action drama Hanna is coming back to ruthlessly fight for another season. Amazon Studios has ordered a third season of the series based on the Joe Wright 2011 film.

The renewal comes after the second season premiered on the streamer on July 3.

The series follows the titular character, played by Esmé Creed-Miles, who is on the run from a sinister government agency and tries to unearth the truth behind who she is.

At the end of the first season, Hanna found out she is not the only young woman with skills like hers that came out of the Utrax program. CBS Commits 25% of Development Budget to Bipoc Projects
CBS announced Monday that it will devote 25% of its script development budget to projects created or co-created by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (Bipoc) beginning with the 2021-2022 development season.

In addition, the network is also setting a target to have a minimum of 40% Bipoc representation in their writers’ rooms also beginning in 2021-2022. The goal is to increase that number to 50% the following season. The network has also committed to hiring additional Bipoc writers on some of their series for the upcoming 2020-2021 season.

CBS Commits to Developing Projects From Black, Indigenous Creators, Will Build More Diverse Writers' Rooms
CBS on Monday announced its intention to invest in more diverse programming, starting behind the camera. Beginning with the 2021-22 season, at least 25 percent of the network’s script development budget will go toward projects created or co-created by Black, Indigenous and People of Color (Bipoc).

Additionally, CBS has announced a goal for its writers’ rooms to be staffed with at least 40 percent Bipoc representation, which will also begin with the 2021-22 season. For the following season (2022-23), the goal is to increase that number to 50 percent.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office has uncovered a body at Lake Piru in California, the site where actress Naya Rivera went missing last week.

The “Glee” star is presumed to have drowned after a swimming accident on July 8. The Sheriff’s Office has not identified the body yet, but will hold a press conference on Monday at 2 p.m. Pt at the lake.

“Happening now: A body has been found at Lake Piru this morning. The recovery is in progress. A news conference will take place at 2 pm at the lake,” the office wrote Monday on Twitter.
