City of Melbourne has suspended all winter season sports facility use, in keeping with the return to stage-three restrictions across metropolitan Melbourne. This will be in effect until August 2020. Seasonal sports clubs will be contacted with further updates as they become available.
The Victorian Government determines the summer and winter seasons and respective sports permitted on Crown land.
The City of Melbourne has more than 100 clubs operating in its parks throughout the year. A growing population and high use of our facilities means a number of factors are considered when assessing applications.
