    1 जुलाई 2016 - पहली एल सी ए-तेजस (LCA) स्क्वाड्रन का गठन किया गया। हिंदुस्तान एरोनॉटिक्स लिमिटेड () ने प्रथम दो वायुयान भारतीय वायुसेना को सौंपे और 45 स्क्वाड्रन 'फ्लाइंग डैगर्स' स्वदेशी स्तर पर विकसित वायुयान उड़ाने वाली पहली स्क्वाड्रन बनी। जय हिन्द!

    1st July 2016 - The first LCA-Tejas squadron was raised. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) handed over the first two aircraft to Indian Air Force & 45 Sqn 'Flying Daggers', became the first squadron to fly the indigenously developed aircraft.

    has designed & developed an Indigenous AirborneLocustControlSystem on Mi-17 helicopter. Airborne spraying of pesticide has been successfully achieved in air, using all indigenous components, through a configuration of nozzles mounted both sides on external trusses of Mi-17.
