Maurice Vander Et Son Orchestre:  Un Homme Et Une Femme / Samba Saravah   Comment by Manwolf Louie

Labels, composers, note added and reversed sides corrected. There is a stamp with the release date on the third image, but is illegible. Probably "MAR. 10 1967".

Dean Martin:  I'm Not The Marrying Kind   Comment by Whyperion

Where was this promoted ? Dealers ?

Glenn Wells:  Broken Heart School / Marti   Comment by peterh

The 486/487 codes (and account number 75) fit in nicely in the batch for Huey Meaux codes in 1962, see the link in my previous comment. This was all before Dover was formed.

Classics IV Featuring Dennis Yost:  Everyday With You Girl / Sentimental Lady   Comment by musictom

I suspected that. Thanks for confirming.

Toni Basil:  I'm 28 / Breakaway   Comment by musictom

Glenn Wells:  Broken Heart School / Marti   Comment by Sundry1

Where is the code ? 75-486 is not an account or master numbering representative of the Dover press and distribution.

The Casuals:  Jezamine / Toy   Comment by moorlock2003

"Toy" is actually "Toyland", an entirely different song from their LP. Buyer beware.

Glenn Wells:  Broken Heart School / Marti   Comment by peterh

The Cosimo Codes on the label are from 1962. So it seems that Huey Meaux waited some time to issue the record.

Phyllis Dillon:  Love Is All I Had / Boys And Girls Reggae   Comment by DJ Power Version

Review: Nice version of traditional "Brown Girl In The Ring"!

Courtney Melody:  Screechie Across the Border / Version   Comment by Redpunk

Added black and white label scans.

Gene Pitney:  Mission Bell / Time Won't Let Me   Comment by musictom

Yea you're right. I missed the Australian EP. But this is still the first "single" issue, apparently. I agree about the letdown on Time... Borderline awful. You're right, not his kinda song.

Rev. Columbus Mann And His Pentecostal Choir:  I Love Jesus More Than All / The Blood Of Jesus   Comment by jukebox george

There used to be a couple of Italian based sellers on Musicstack that used to hike their prices by around 1000%. I don’t get the hype.

Define "Single" - 18 Posts     Post by My Friend Jack

I've just had a look at an edition of Pop Weekly from late 1963 and the word "single" was used a number of times to refer to the latest 45 releases by various acts of the day. So it was certainly in common use in the UK by then.

Sorry I know it has been asked before but many of the search results from the search link now return 50 entries, (I think it was 100) it had been explained for "Sorry that's not going to be possible...
