    The 108 service let us down badly when I saw a man bleeding on the road, called No ambulance came. I saw a 108 ambulance going elsewhere, ran, hailed it but it didn’t stop. Finally policemen stopped a passing pickup van and took the man to hospital.

    Last year, villagers in Kanker district received 1st instalment under the PM Awas Yojana to build pucca houses. They pulled down their mud houses. No further instalment came. They have no homes for the last one year.

    I wish I understood the world of funding better. Maybe we could scale up my world of scalable ideas. We just keep plodding away, swimming against the current in everything we do, creating multiple successes but watching the swirling sea of investors because it’s an unknown world.

    Zomato says that burn rate will be $1 million in July 2020. Revenues will be $23 million, which is about ~60% of pre-COVID peaks, complete recovery in the next 3-6 months More importantly, in Q1 FY20 it lost Rs 47 per order. Now it is making Rs 27 per order (contribution margin)

    हर पार्टी में सफ़ेद कुर्ता पायजामे में भरे पड़े हैं। गली के गुंडे थे, एक ठो हत्या कर दी, किसी नेता के प्रश्रय में आ गए तो ठेकेदारी मिल गयी और अधिकारियों के साथ उठने बैठने लगे, फिर धीरे से खुद नेता बन गए, निर्दलीय लड़े या पार्टी टिकट पे, चुनाव जीते, लोकतंत्र बचाने लगे।

    ज़िंदा रहता या मरता, हम आम नागरिक ही हारते। संदिग्ध और अविश्वसनीय परिस्थितियों में मार दिया गया तो वो राज़ लेकर चला गया जिनके खुलने से कुछ लोग (शायद) नप जाते। अगर नहीं मारा जाता तो शीघ्र नेता बन जाता और आप हम से वोट माँगता, मंत्री बनता। ये हमारी नियति है।
