    Students must not be treated like children. The HRD Minister preaching to students that they don't know / understand what's good for them is tragic. These students vote governments in to power, they are equal citizens and stakeholders of India

    Interview of Prof. Patwardhan (VC, UGC) on India Today right now. It will also be on Hotstar later. He's still talking about planning exams even now. He just said in 1973, exams were postponed for a year so they can be postponed, but not cancelled. God help us.

    Yes, a big thanks to for sensitively and passionately covering the deep distress students are in right now because of the UGC's mindless and cruel policies.

    I can't thank and enough for covering the UGC fiasco: the only mainstream channel to give this a primetime spot. They were also the first to cover the admit card privacy issue. The exams need to go. Alternatives are plenty.

    I mean, our only question is: WHY? Why is conducting examinations for one semester more important than other semesters? Does it change your mind if we say 6th/8th semester exams and not final year exams?

    "Final year examination" is a misunderstood term,atleast for most DU courses. In the semester system,each semester is separately examined and assessed.This should not be viewed as some Exit Exam. It can very well be assessed internally or based on average of 5 previous semesters!

    . जी, ऐसे बेतुके और तर्कहीन बयान दे कर आप छात्रों को और भड़का रहे हैं। exam कैंसिल करने पर मार्कशीट में "कोरोना वाला बच्चा" लिख कर नहीं आएगा। पिछले सेमेस्टर के नम्बर के आधार पर या आंतरिक मूल्यांकन पर इस नम्बर दिए दिए जाएंगे।
