This is important. All eyes on Johnson at moment for turning Conservatives into UKIP. But UKIP 2.0, the Brexit Party, is quietly consolidating. Meanwhile we still don’t know where its £££ came from. Well done for persisting with this story

Body language speaks volumes I’d spent nearly 3 hours watching him in a prone position & it got too much! Plus - how dare he label those of us trying to stop No Deal “undemocratic” His Government has no mandate for this vicious Brexit - and is trying to bypass parliament

A referendum can be either democratic or irreversible, but it cannot be both Just as no parliament can bind a successor, it follows that no electorate can do either The 2016 referendum cannot bind UK absolutely A democracy can change its mind, or it ceases to be a democracy

Every decent, considerate human impulse is now labelled "political correctness gone mad". Empathy and compassion are dismissed as fads. Psychopathy is normalised.

The most bizarre thing about this is the implicit acknowledgement that it’s going to be profoundly disruptive. Nobody needs to ‘get ready’ for more prosperity and independence, which is all that the Brexit campaign ever promised.
