                    Franklin Street access

As Melbourne City Baths is adjacent to the CBD North Metro Tunnel construction site in Franklin Street where early works construction has begun, Franklin Street will be closed to vehicle access for the next five years of the project.

However, following works that occurred in early 2017, the Franklin Street footpath that runs alongside Melbourne City Baths is now accessible to pedestrians.

If you have a disability or mobility impairment, you can get into Melbourne City Baths through the accessible entrance door on Franklin Street.

As a result of the Franklin Street closure, car spaces for people with a disability have been installed on Cardigan Street in front of Dracula’s Restaurant.
