You can book a green waste collection once a month on the given Saturday for your suburb. A maximum of two cubic metres of waste per household per month is allowed. All green waste collected is composted.
Bookings are essential for all green waste collections and must be made by Thursday before the relevant collection weekend.
Be sure to specify what will be placed out for collection and where the material will be placed (at the front, rear or side of the property).

Garden waste can also be dropped off free of charge at the Waste and Recycling Centre in Dynon Road, West Melbourne. The centre is open 8.30am to 3pm, seven days a week.
