Jaden and Jada Pinkett Smith called out long-time YouTuber Shane Dawson on Saturday, saying they're "disgusted" and "done with excuses" after an old video resurfaced showing Dawson making sexual gestures towards a poster of then-11-year-old Willow Smith. Dawson posted a 20-minute video on Friday titled "Taking Accountability," in which he issued an apology for old videos that included blackface, racist slurs and jokes about pedophilia.

Louisville authorities say one man was killed and another was injured in a shooting at around 9:00 PM in Jefferson Square Park downtown Louisville, where protesters have been gathering for weeks to protest the police shooting of Breonna Taylor. The LMPD has cleared the park as homicide detectives are investigating the incident. Police are yet to identify a suspect.
Mississippi Senate passed a resolution to change its Confederate-themed flag

In a 36-14 vote, the Mississippi Senate passed a resolution that will begin the process of changing the state's flag, which was established in 1894. The flag currently features the Confederate emblem. Debate on a final bill can now begin as soon as Sunday and will only need a simple majority to pass. Governor Tate Reeves has said he will sign the bill to remove the emblem.
Princeton University will remove Woodrow Wilson's name from public policy school and residential college

The Ivy League school announced that it will rename the Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International affairs to The Princeton School of Public and International Affairs citing Wilson's racist thinking and policies as the reason for the removal of his name. Woodrow Wilson served as the 28th president of the US and was also once a president of the university. The residential college at Princeton that also hosts his name will be renamed First College.
