She was probably locked up in her house with strict hijab rules and subjected to not leaving the house without male partner etc. as a child. Now she's projecting her anger at other marginalized groups. Its called "displacement" in psychology or "projecting anger at a substitute"

That substitute is more often than not less powerful than the person who is originally oppressing them. The substitute in this case is homosexuals and the powerful one is her theocracy, patriarchy, husband, etc
