                    We have a range of documentaries and art house films available for streaming. You can also borrow from our collection of DVDs and Blu-rays.

                    Films to stream

                    Kanopy – film streaming on demand

                    Introducing Kanopy, featuring thousands of films available for streaming – movies, documentaries and TV series. Tune in on your desktop, mobile or through Apple TV, Chromecast or Roku.

                    To create an account for Kanopy:

                    • Sign up with your name, email and a password.
                    • Kanopy will send a confirmation email which will ask you to verify your library membership with your library card number and PIN.
                    • Once verified you log in to Kanopy with the email and password you used to sign up.

                    Members can watch up to five films per month. Once you play a film you have three days to watch that title an unlimited number of times.

                    Beamafilm offers an exceptional range of politically, socially and culturally engaging documentaries from around the world.

                    Films to borrow

                    DVDs and Blu-rays are available to borrow from all our library branches. You can have up to 50 items on loan at any time, and the loan period for DVDs and Blu-rays is three weeks. See Borrowing for more information.
