Good to see the ABC have a panel of four white journalists analysing the protests here and in the US. Not sure if Insiders has ever had an Aboriginal journalist or person of colour on its panel, but at this moment it seems even more absurd.

Australia this is also you. You're very happy to hire us to give cred to your brainstorms and authenticate 'diverse' characters (gotta include them cause of funding!) but won't give an inch otherwise.

Yes, there’s politics behind this from the Chinese government. But racism against people from Asian backgrounds has increased — complaints are up & incidents documented by community groups. The better response: take racism more seriously, don’t dismiss it

I’ve been organising + attending rallies for years and Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance run them SO professionally. Every element of safety is accounted for, marshals go through hours of training, there are medics, lawyers, media guides, thorough conflict de-escalation plans

Concerted campaign to get every Jobseeker to cold call the same 20 companies each day asking for work. I'd suggest media companies. Liberal MP offices. Banks. Melt their switchboards. Demonstrate the chaos of 1.6 million people competing for 70,000 jobs.
