                    Book a space at Library at The Dock

                    Library at The Dock has multipurpose rooms for hire that are suitable for meetings, conferences, performances, training, recreation, gameplay, art and design activities. There’s also a recording studio and gallery that can be booked.

                    We want Library at The Dock to be a place where programs and opportunities can be created for the community, by the community.

                    Library at The Dock is part of our promise to provide quality spaces for people and community groups to use, for the benefit of Melbourne's residents, workers and visitors.

                    Bookable spaces

                    • Activities room

                      The Activities room is a large multi-purpose space for hire suitable for a range of activities.

                    • Meeting room 1

                      Meeting Room 1 is a private, quiet space for hire suitable for meetings, training sessions and workshops for up to 10 people.

                    • Meeting room 2

                      Meeting room 2 is a private, quiet space for hire suitable for meetings, training sessions and small workshops for up to 6 people.

                    • Meeting room 3

                      Meeting room 3 is a private, quiet space for hire suitable for meetings, training sessions and small workshops for up to 6 people.

                    • Performance space

                      The Performance space is suitable for large functions. The space has audio-visual equipment and flexible seating arrangements.

                    • Practice room 1

                      Practice room 1 is equipped with a digital piano and is available for individuals or small groups to rehearse music.

                    • Practice room 2

                      Practice room 2 is equipped with a digital piano and is available for individuals or small groups to rehearse music.

                    • Recording studio

                      The recording studio is a high quality, acoustically treated recording space with separate control room and recording room/live room.

                    • The Terrace

                      The Terrace is an outdoor activity space with pergola style roof. It is designed as an extension of the library lounge. It is suitable for table tennis groups, for passive exercise and wellbeing classes or for workshops not requiring seating.
