When you hear Rishi Sunak propose a £200 *loan* as a solution for households facing energy bills rocketing by £693, remember: He's the richest MP, who last night in Parliament pushed through a tax cut for bankers worth £1,000,000,000 a year. Sunak's on their side, not yours.

Surely no one in their right mind thinks this is OK? We seriously need to be paying attention to what our Govt is trying to slip through thank you for drawing me to this

A really troubling read about clause 9 of the Nationality and Borders Bill which will enable Priti Patel to remove the citizenship of individuals - and them to be rendered stateless - without even being told. By @ProfDPrabhat. theconversation.com/stripping-brit

It’s obvious that the NHS won’t be able to deliver for everyone this winter. You have a choice about who to get angry with. One option is NHS staff, who are doing their best despite not having the resources they need. The other is the politicians who deny them those resources.

A bit much from a man earning £161k per annum plus accommodation but who still asks for welfare from wealthy donors to fund his personal living expenses including meals, childcare, flat decorations. #OneRuleForThem

“The men standing around were making fun of girls and women, laughing at our terror. “Go and put on your chadari [burqa],” one called. “It is your last days of being out on the streets,” said another. “I will marry four of you in one day,” said a third.”

We used to say “24 hours to save the NHS”. That’s now in the past tense. We essentially failed • The NHS is no longer free at the point of use • At least 26 treatments are now rationed • There is a bed & staffing crisis • Waiting lists & A&E waits are now the worst on record

UNCHR is saddened that the Nationality & Borders Bill has passed 2nd reading in current form. It’ll create a two-tier asylum system, violating 1951 Refugee Convention, harming genuine refugees. We urge MPs to amend the most damaging parts More ⬇️

Congrats to Jeff Bezos and Richard Branson on their space flights. I think that Jeff Bezos's Amazon should pay its fair share of taxes in the UK. I think that Richard Branson should pay his taxes in the UK and stop trying to privatise (and then sue) our NHS to make more money.
