In our sleepy bedroom town on the coast of North Carolina, a protest consisting of about 30 white females in their mid-20s held signs declaring ‘Defund the Police’, as they walked by the township squad cars blocking off the intersections.

I’m sure the irony was lost on everyone.

One girl held an “I Can’t Breathe” sign.  I couldn’t help but roll down the window to tell her that removing her ‘Rona mask would help.
