Message from Fr. Willie – My Golden Jubilee
I would just like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all who contacted me with cards, texts, e-mails, telephone calls, Facebook messages, etc. for my Golden Jubilee. I have been overwhelmed by it all!! Too many to reply to individually.
I was delighted we had the webcam installed in time for the Mass of Thanksgiving on Friday 5th.
The video presentation after the Mass was a complete surprise to me and made me feel quite emotional. That would have taken a lot of work to put together.  Jean Roche took that on and she deserves a huge thank you.  To all who took part in the celebration: pupils from the two schools, teachers, members of my own family from different parts of Ireland and indeed from around the world (Australia, Spain, New Zealand).
Thanks to all who participated in the Mass. Bishop Denis Nulty who is so generous with his time and so pleasant to everyone. To my brother Gerard, nephews Thomas and John, Fr. Matt, Billy Cullen, Tom, Valerie & Aisling McCarthy and Jean Roche. You made the celebration very special.
To the people who stood outside in the cold, thank you, so sorry I kept you waiting!!
I will carry the memory of Friday 5th June 2020 with me for the rest of my life.
Heartfelt thanks to all.
God Bless you
Willie O’Byrne

Welcome

Dear Parishioners,
The idea of community in the Christian context finds its origins in the scriptures. We are told in the Acts of the Apostles that “the early Christians in meeting together supported each other and shared everything in common”.
Here in this parish of Kill, Ardclough and Johnstown we are constantly striving to build up an active, caring Christian Community. A large number of people are involved but we are always in need of more active support and help. Please don’t hesitate to contact us through the parish office for more information.
I would like to wish you and your family peace and contentment and that your time living in our community will be happy and fulfilled.
Willie O’Byrne P.P
