calling all ppl who daydream of running a farm one day or just like farmcore stuff, i have a book recommendation for y’all!!

One Woman Farm by Jenna Woginrich is excellent (so far, im about 1/3rd of the way thru)! i got my copy for $2 at my favorite discount store on a whim and that was a very well spent 2 dollars!

it’s a nonfiction book about what a typical year is like on Jenna Woginrich’s farm, which she runs by herself. she goes thru every month and describes the different tasks she has to complete, the different traditions she’s formed, and the overall feel of that time of year on a farm. 

she very clearly loves running her farm, is super knowledgeable, and cares deeply for her work.

me: i’ve come to really not like harry potter, because of the way the majority of its fans behave as well as the bullshit jk rowling says and does and im not really comfortable identifying w/ the series anymore

nah. im allowed to be like, distrustful and wary of and even hate christianity specifically, b/c i come from a christian background. 

that doesn’t mean that 1) im allowed to give lgbt christians grief or 2) im allowed to be islamophobic or antisemitic
