Indigenous Peoples
The AGO offers complimentary admission to all Indigenous Peoples.

AGO Free Wednesday Nights
Free admission to our collection galleries every Wednesday from 6-9 pm is a longstanding tradition. Free tickets are issued to visitors in person, starting at 6 pm. Please dress for the weather as the queue for tickets begins outside the AGO, and please refrain from bringing backpacks.

The AGO now accepts payment from WeChat Pay and Alipay. Visitors are invited to use the apps onsite to pay for tickets, events, food and shopping. As always, the AGO accepts cash, debit and credit.

DIRECTIONS

DRIVING

From the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW)

  1. Merge onto Gardiner Expy E.
  2. Take the Spadina Ave. exit
  3. Use any lane to turn left onto Lower Spadina Ave/Spadina Ave.
  4. Continue to follow Spadina Ave.
  5. Turn right onto Dundas St W.
  6. The AGO is at the corner of Dundas Street and Beverley Street, on your right side.

From the 401

  1. Take the Avenue Road S exit.
  2. Continue on Avenue Rd. Drive to Dundas St W.
  3. Turn right onto Dundas St. West and you will soon see the AGO at the corner of Dundas and McCaul, on your left side.

From Pearson International Airport

  1. Follow ON-427 S and Gardiner Expy E to Lower Spadina Ave/Spadina Ave in Old Toronto.
  2. Take the Spadina Ave. exit from Gardiner Expy E.
  3. Continue on Spadina Ave. to Dundas St W
  4. Turn right onto Dundas St W.
  5. The AGO is at the corner of Dundas Street and Beverley Street on your right side.
TRANSIT

Subway

The St. Patrick stop on the Yonge-University-Spadina line is the closest stop to the AGO entrance. It is 3 blocks from University or a 5 minute walk.

St. Patrick is also an accessible subway station with an elevator.

  1. Exit the subway station and walk west on Dundas St W towards Simcoe Street.
  2. You will pass the Village by the Grange building on the left.
  3. At McCaul Street, you will see the AGO on the left hand side.

Dundas Streetcar

If you're taking the 505 Dundas streetcar from the east, get off at McCaul Street. If you're arriving from the west, get off at Beverley Street. The streetcar stops are located conveniently right in front of the AGO.

Spadina Streetcar

If you are arriving on the 510 Spadina streetcar from the north or south, get off at Dundas Street and walk east along Dundas. You will see the AGO on the right hand side when you reach Beverley Street. It is 3 blocks from Spadina or about a 5 minute walk.

WALK AND BIKE

Walk from the Eaton Centre

  1. Walk west on Dundas Street and you will see the AGO on the left hand side when you reach McCaul Street (3 blocks past University Avenue). The walk is about 10 minutes.

Walk from the CN Tower

  1. Walk north on John Street to where it ends at the south edge of Grange Park.
  2. As you walk through the park you will see the new, tinted-titanium-and-glass four-storey south wing.
  3. Head west to Beverley Street or east to McCaul Street to enter the building on Dundas Street.

Bikes

Several bicycle racks are located at the corner of Dundas and Beverley Street. Bicycles are parked at the owner's risk.
