I have heard the the word "courage" is linked to the original Latin word "Cor" for heart, and that in some cases, "courage" means speaking from the heart, being brave enough to speak and be truly real & authentic and honest. Sir, I salute your courage.

Oh yeah, that where I heard it...

This is a lesson of leadership. A lesson of courage. A lesson of insight. A lesson of pain. A lesson of endurance. A lesson of tenacity. A lesson of listening. A lesson of teaching. A lesson of learning. A lesson for all of us. That’s what I’m thinking, Gen. CQ Brown, Jr.

Sir, I’m thinking how glad I am that my colleagues shared your message with me, how it comforts me to know there are leaders and airmen and women like you, and that those who serve with and under you are fortunate to have your example to follow.
