    It’s alarming how several such reports are coming from Delhi. Capacity building was the aim of this lockdown. The city has opened up, but is it prepared to handle this case load? Can the state Govt continue to claim they have enough beds with ventilators and in ICUs?

    Tragic: Patient dies before could hear his petition for a hospital bed with ventilator. The matter is listed for hearing today. The 80 year old senior citizen was refused a bed by 4 top Delhi hospitals & had then moved the Delhi High Court.

    The lockdown was meant to prepare hospitals,to ramp up testing and to flatten the curve. Instead,the curve is rising; in Delhi people are struggling for hospital beds and instead of increasing testing,Delhi has said everyone should not be tested.

    So glad that you made this point Abhisar! BJP’s outrage on elephant’s murder is because it happened in Kerala, where it’s trying to gain foothold and also because its leaders would like believe that Muslims were behind this ghastly act. But BJP has only exposed itself once again
