Why are people in the UK not more exercised about the number of related deaths? 'There is a failure to acknowledge the death toll.' pulls no punches in my latest podcast. listen here:

... why have mainstream broadcasters, apart from & , print journalists not rigorously interrogated ministers & advisors about what had been happening in NI Care Homes? Loved ones died in questionable circumstances.

..I’m more convinced than ever ministers & advisors ought to be held accountable for what happened in Care Homes where so many died. This scandal’s not about money wasted but about how many LOST their lives in Homes in QUESTIONABLE CIRCUMSTANCES.

For today’s reading, I have chosen a jaunty excerpt from Patrick Kavanagh’s Tarry Flynn. O it was a delight To be paying bills of laughter And chaffy gossip With work thrown in to ballast The fantasy-soaring mind.”

Speaking on earlier, I said the 'Troubles Pension' is a victim of a process which leaves the Past to politics. The idea that politicians and governments can sort out our legacy process is complete and utter nonsense.

We've had the experience in our house with our first child. Terrifying! Told friends after and so many said "oh yeah, we had that too".

Britain overtakes Belgium- & every other developed country- to record the highest rate of deaths per million population in the world. It had weeks of warning from Italy that was a killer & heading to the UK. The Gov't has a lot to answer for. 60,000+ lives.

"Enough is Enough". You can hear the anger in the voice of artist as he describes the delay in the 'troubles pension' as an insult. He was speaking a few minutes ago with Chris Buckler on That pension is now part of the legacy mess - another political play
